Tim Fite is co-headlining a tour with The Watson Twins and last night (July 11th) they played at the Mercury Lounge. I missed the first band, but caught some of Ravens and Chimes, who were pretty upbeat. They ended their set with a Leonard Cohen song, which was awesome! The Watsons were as fabulous as ever, but they didn't play as long as I would have liked and Tim Fite was AMAZING! This was the first time I saw him live and WOW! what an outrageous performance. He really reminded me of Modest Mouse, although my concert going friend thinks he sounds like Beck. Overall, a great night at the Lounge.
