I went to see The Avett Brothers last night at The Stone Pony and was completely blown away by their performance. Awesome venue, fresh band, but odd crowd! I guess I wasn't really sure of their following and to be honest, I'm still not sure. The crowd was a mix of frat boys, hippies and older folks that could have been the bands parents or even grandparents. Overall, a great live band with a lot of energy, that rocked out for at least two hours and managed to keep everyone entertained and wanting more.
